Meet Our Pillars

Mr. N K Bansal, is former Scientist F and Head (PCD) Bureau of Indian Standards, having 33 years of versatile experience in the field of Standardization, Testing and Certification. He has carried out many FMCS audits, for BIS QCO compliances and has adequate knowledge for all subjects.

Dr. Narayan started his carrier with West Bengal Pollution Control Board in January, 1983 and superannuated in the capacity of senior management official (Chief Engineer Grade) in November 2018. During his tenure in WBPCB, Dr. Narayan headed different Regional Offices and Circle Office of the organization spread over entire south Bengal consisting twelve (12) districts of the State.

From 1986-1994 worked in Chemical Department, where dealt with Sectional Committees on Leather, Chemicals, Paper etc.  Also assisted Head (Chemicals) in discharging duties of Secretary to ISO TC 120 Leather.

Placed as Head (Chemicals) from 2013-2016.  Major activites included Secretary, ISO TC 120 and its three sub committees; Co-Secretary of ISO TC 307/SC7/WG 8 (Revision of Standard on Carbon Footprint of Products)

Organised preliminary meetings of ISO TC 207 of Environmental Management Systems in Sept 2015 at New Delhi which involved 90 meetings of various sub committees, working groups etc. over a period of 11 days.

Awarded Co-Secretariat of Developing Country Contact Group on Green House Gases.
