On 27th August 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, notified the Cross Recessed Screws (Quality Control) Order, 2025. Implementation Timeline

The implementation will be phased based on enterprise size:

• General (Other than MSEs): 1st November 2025
• Small Enterprises: 1st February 2026
• Micro Enterprises: 1st May 2026

This ensures smaller enterprises get more time to align with the standards.
