(1) This Order may be called the Air Cooler and Air Filters (Quality Control) Order, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Date of Implementation of QCO:

General (other than Micro and Small Enterprises): 1st April, 2025.
Small Enterprises: 1st July, 2025.
Micro Enterprises: 1st October, 2025.

After implementation this Quality Control Order for Air Coolers and Air Filters, manufacturing, importing, storing, or selling air coolers or air filters without a valid BIS license is prohibited. Non-compliance may lead to penalties, product seizure, or legal actions.
