BIS Certification for Tin Ingot

BIS Certification for Tin Ingot – IS 26:2024

Tin ingots are widely used in industries like electronics, automotive, and packaging due to their corrosion resistance and low melting point. To ensure product quality and standardization, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has introduced a specific certification under IS 26:2024 for tin ingots.

IS 26:2024 outlines the technical specifications, chemical composition, and physical properties that tin ingots must meet to be compliant. BIS certification ensures safety, consistency and reliability in both domestic and international markets.
